The historic centre of Oneglia every year in November turns into the capital of extra virgin olive oil, with its arcades and squares packed with stalls where you can taste and buy all the typical products of western Liguria. Oil just pressed by local producers to get to know and compare, but also pesto, oil-pickled vegetables, Brigasca goat's milk cheeses, Ligurian focaccia, Conio beans, Pigna and Badalucco, biscuits, ice cream and cakes with olive oil, typical cold cuts, farinata...

An event looked forward to by the city and by the many tourists who come specially to taste and buy the new production of local oil (the numbers of last year speak of seventy thousand visitors with a significant foreign presence). In November, about 200 stalls will be set up in the streets, in the squares and under the arcades of Imperia Oneglia. Olioliva has over the years become a tourist testimonial of a broad philosophy, of a choice which emphasises healthy and genuine eating, well-being and quality of life.
